The artist Jorge Regueira presents his new artworks at the Zorrilla Theater in Valladolid in the painting exhibition “Horizonte de Sucesos”, from September 22 to November 7, 2021. Behind this initiative is Sara Sanz, author of The Biombo Blog , and the Provincial Council of Valladolid.

In “Horizonte de Sucesos”, Jorge Regueira offers us, from his point of view as an artist, different approaches to this concept of general relativity, which defines the border between what is observable and what we cannot see, only intuit. The point of time and space where everything changes and transforms. His works offer us a surprising visual and conceptual interpretation that transports and captures us, as if it were a black hole, inviting us to create our own realities with our imagination.

Eclectic and multidisciplinary, one of the singularities of Jorge Regueira’s work is the use of the calligraphic stroke as an expressive medium, which integrates and composes an absolutely particular visual semiotics with which he creates his personal universe.

A creative universe that has taken his work to Moscow, a city in whose Museum of Contemporary Calligraphy is the only Spanish artist represented. He has participated in international fairs such as Hybrid Art Fair in Madrid or Vera Art in Moscow, and has made several individual and group exhibitions.

The exhibition “Horizonte de Sucesos” by Jorge Regueira can be visited in the Exhibition Hall of the Zorrilla Theater of the Valladolid Provincial Council (Plaza Mayor, 9 – Valladolid) from September 22 to November 7, 2021 during the usual hours of the space.
