The Biombo gives you the best ideas to decorate with screens

The room divider (biombo in Spanish), an ancient invention, has its origin in China, although it was in Japan where it became popular. With the meaning of wind protection screen, it protected the rooms from the entrance of hurricane winds.

Since then, it has done nothing but to add functions to the initials. Thus, a room divider can serve as:

  • Headboard
  • Coat rack
  • To delimit areas of the house
  • To give privacy
  • To protect from light
  • As an artwork

Taking as reference Elle Decor, we observe how the interior designers Alberto Ribera, María Santos, Bruno Reymond, Pablo Paniagua and María Querencia, together with the interior design studio Factotum, the antiquarian Carina Casanovas and the businesswoman Sandra Segimón, bet on the room divider as an element to decorate places in an elegant and exotic way.
